You can freeze frame anyone punching and show them getting countered.
Anytime you throw you are open for something. Like Hopkins said, when you punch you are vulnerable. I agree though, he should dip into it more rather than standing tall but I wouldn't really call it Manny's key to success.

I just don't see him getting the KO.
Chris has the height and reach. Plus his shots aren't loopy like Margarito's. Much more point A to point B. Much better chance to pull off the upset than Rios did.

This fight going to be good...reminds me of wen bitch boy floyd ducked tall ass paul williams lol
You do know that BOTH Manny and Floyd ducked Paul Williams...he had both their names in his mouth. But Floyd did fight Diego who was much taller than Mayweather. Also Floyd moved up in weight and fought a taller Oscar @ 154 lbs which in my opinion is more dangerous than Paul Williams and Margarito at a lower weight class.

Why is Pacquiao moving down in weight when there are great fights at 147 lbs? Sounds like they are setting up a Crawford fight...and that again would be very disappointing like this Chris Algeri fiasco...he should be fighting Amir Khan or Kell Brooks or Keith Thurman or Roberto G...at 140 he will duck Danny Garcia...Porter isn't HOT...Matthysse isn't HOT... Broner is HOT because of the comity but he really ain't HHHOT...someone point me in the right direction why is Manny going downward?

Pacquiao wasn't even the division when Paul Williams was around.

You should probably do some research before you make such claims. Danny Garcia vs Pacquiao at 140 is being discussed, Roach, Pac, Oscar and Arum have talked about it.

Roach: Danny Garcia is #1 option
Roach: Danny Garcia is my No.1 choice to face Pacquiao

Pacquiao: If no Mayweather, Danny Garcia
Boxing Buzz - Pacquiao Prefers Danny Garcia Over Mayweather Dream

Oscar: Danny Garcia vs Pacquiao is on the table
De La Hoya says Pacquiao-Garcia is on the table - Bad Left Hook

Arum & Oscar interest in Garcia vs Pacquiao
De La Hoya and Arum interested in Danny Garcia vs. Manny Pacquiao fight

Margarito, DLH, Corrales were all like 5'10". PW was 6'1" with as long of a reach as Lennox Lewis with a Margarito work rate. Big difference.

Margarito's shots weren't loopy, they were just crazy slow and a lot of times came from the shoulder at that stage of his career. He cared less about not telegraphing his punches and just ran downhill. Earlier in his career he had a pretty decent defense and punched from range more often. His power came at the end of longer punches than what most people knew him for.

Huhn...do you know how many fights have been ON THE TABLE...and have not come about? I'm at a point where it has to be finalized not TALKED ABOUT...then Arum turns around and has Pacquiao fight someone else...they could have given Marquez $20 M or somewhere close and made that fight not Chris Algeri. It would have been better to see Marquez KILL Pacquiao once and for all with the threat of a KO finish...there is NO such chance of that happening in this current fight with Chris 8 KO's. Thanks for those link I'm gonna check them out...hopefully your right because I would love to see Danny vs Pac.

Floyd is 5'8 so like I said in my post...he fought fighters who were much taller than him...(I know 2" is a stretch to = much taller lol). And he fought Genaro Hernandez for his first belt who was 5'11

Well u specifically said Pac would duck Garcia but that's the one guy they are ALL taking about.

Marquez turned down the fight, he wasn't going to get $20m it's just not how it works. The plan was then for Pac to fight Ruslan but he lost to Chris thus the current fight.

Lol Williams was fighting at 160 pounds at that time. Pacquiao had just beat Cotto at 145 at the end of 2009. Williams wasn't ranked at 147 since he hadn't fought there in a couple years at that point.
Manny fought Clottey at 147lbs that is when Williams was trying to be his next fight instead of Jashua...now I'm not saying Williams deserved the Pacquaio fight over Clottey I'm just saying Williams did call him out said he would drop from 160 to 147 to fight Manny...Manny went on to fight Margarito. I'm just saying Williams did call out both fighters and answered the call when Pacquiao wanted a fight for a vacant 154 lb title but Manny went with Margarito (loser to Williams) instead of Paul. Manny ducked that guy as well.

You can't duck a guy who's not in the same division. Again, he was at 160 fighting Sergio Martinez. Margarita was basically a welterweight himself. The fight was at a catchweight of 150 and the joke that are the WBC put a vvacant belt on the line. As soon as Pac won, he dropped the belt and went back down to 147 saying 150+ is just too big for him which is obviously true.

Any guy can call out someone, like Ward and Hopkins saying they'd fight Floyd at 160. Doesn't mean Floyd is ducking for not wanting to fight guys 2-3 divisions bigger than him.

Now if Paul Williams STAYED at 147 and kept his ranking he'd have a case, but he left for two years and never returned. When you do that u lose ur ranking obviously

So with your response you need to direct it at WYNO707X4 because he is the one who originally stated that Floyd ducked Williams...I was merely saying that Williams called out Pacquaio as well...I agree with you about leaving a weight class for a period of time then calling out smaller fighters. He fact is Paul did call out Pac. So of Floyd ducked so did Pac or vise versa neither ducked because the challenge wasn't plausible.
