Yeah I saw that...if there was more time in the round Floyd would have had a problem. I think once Floyd retires and goes to full time promoting he's gonna have problems with his current stable of fighters...they just don't impress me.

So are u sayin Marquez hits harder than Maidana? Got Em!!
Im saying the KO punch from Marquez had much more force in the impact. Remember, Pacquiao jumped right into a perfectly timed counter from Marquez. It's all physics man. The forward momentum of Pacquiao lunging into an incoming fist.

Well I'd imagine the plan is to bring Haymon fighters there. I see Al Haymon has a new boxing site coming soon.

All my Mexican friends who are so-called boxing fans hate on Mayweather and always buy the PPV to see him go down. And they be hella pissed after the fight because he "ran" the whole time. I always laugh at them. Keep making him richer pendejos.

Didn't realize when I first saw the punch stats but 326 punches thrown in 12 rounds is the lowest he's ever thrown in his career:

MAYWEATHER - FEWEST PUNCHES THROWN IN A 12-RND FIGHT

THROWN*** RESULT/OPPONENT
326************* W 12 Maidana II
399************* W 12 Castillo II
426************* W 12 Maidana I

Man...I just came across this S.I. article that extended what I was saying earlier about Floyd's stable...I know it's obvious but this is a must read...it has an interesting perspective on the Floyd/ Elerbie split.

What's funny is with both rematches Manny vs Bradley...and Floyd vs Maidana the majority of people said there is no reason for a rematch because the top dogs (Floyd/ Pac) won...only one of those sequels did worse than it's original and that was Manny vs Bradley...the Floyd vs Maidana eclipsed it first episode with far less star power. Manny vs Algeri is going to be the nail in the coffin if the numbers are low and Arum and company start singing a sad song...that's gonna mean the money from them Chinese casino ain't cutting it. Furthermore they Top Rank were campaigning the $5.00 buys against the sheer population of China which they said would make Manny's foray into his then upcoming fight with Rios the highest paid athlete. What significant financial news came out of that...Manny had tax problems. It's either I hate Bob Arum or Manny is stupid...I thinks it's a blending of both.

Now lets see how Manny's PPV does? Also I thought only people buy Floyd's PPV's to see the great undercard or the big time Mexican fighter Floyd is fighting. Well neither existed here and it still almost hit a Mill. Hmmm.....Got Em!!
What does it matter what Pacquiao's PPV numbers will be? No one knows Chris. Probably do around 350k

Lol there were huge differences.

Pacquiao vs Bradley 1 everyone thought Manny won by a wide margin but was robbed. The second fight happened After Pacquiao was knocked out by JMM so a lot of his drawing power took a blow.

Floyd vs Maidana 1 was viewed as Floyd's toughest fight in his career or at least since Castillo. I think the casuals were expecting the immediate rematch would be more of the same (which was a really exciting fight ) whereas the experts and hardcore fans or whatever predicted more of a wider decision for Floyd.

You, or we I should say, really can't make assumptions based on what the critics and hardcore fans say because Thats the minority. Case in point, everyone slammed Garcia vs Salka, it was a joke in the boxing world, and yet it got better ratings than cards 20x better. Critics and hardcore fans mean jack shit at the end of the day, which is why all these crappy mismatches we've been seeing keep happening. Doesn't matter how much the hardcore community complains.

Manny vs Algeri is going to be the nail in the coffin if the numbers are low and Arum and company start singing a sad song...that's gonna mean the money from them Chinese casino ain't cutting it.
It matters little if the PPV does low numbers. Why do think its in Macau? Because the casinos there pay absurd amounts of money for him. Remember, Macau is about 20x bigger than Vegas in regards to how much money they make. It's insane the cash they get. So if the PPV does 300,000 buys or whatever, it really doesn't matter when the casinos are paying $20m or more in low taxed cash. Arum isn't dumb.

Furthermore they Top Rank were campaigning the $5.00 buys against the sheer population of China which they said would make Manny's foray into his then upcoming fight with Rios the highest paid athlete. What significant financial news came out of that...
Really has nothing to do with nothing but they probably didnt make a whole lot because the deal with that was it was only available through steam on smart phones and tablets. They don't have TV PPV set up in China. They couldn't even order it on a PC, it had to go through a special app in a phone/tablet, and as far as I know that was the first time anything like that has ever happened in China.

CZAR @CZAR you know damn well that fight did not get those numbers! That's like me telling you,"Hey, now we know who the REAL steroid user is!" or "Who the real chicken is!"

I agree with all the above accept how is it that the Casinos pay an absurd amount of money and the guy fighting (Pacquiao) is not seeing it? What overage of money did Manny see from the Casinos other than his guaranteed purse for fighting Rios and why didn't he fight Bradley overseas (Tim would have loved the upside Casino cash) if the overall money is greater than Vegas? I'll end my questions with this...I'm just trying to get some clarity I'm not debating the issue.

Are you his banker? I don't care what Pacquiao does with his money not sure why anyone else does.

The reason Bradley Pacquiao was in Vegas was because they probably expected better numbers. They didn't get it, although it wasn't bad, and knowing Chris is basically a no name it's probably more financially rewarding to fight in China. If Pac's guarantee is $20m or whatever it may be, even if the PPV bombs Top Rank isn't losing any money because of the China revenue. I'm sure the next time Pacquiao fights a bigger name, let's say for example Danny Garcia, it will be in Vegas.
