So he gonna try to avenge the beating Maidana put on his little brother?

Broner is NEVER going to avenge his loss now, lol.

If Maidana wins Broner is still out of the picture as Floyd will get a rematch.

If Maidana loses, a Broner fight is out of the question as it will be a case of him fighting Floyds leftovers.

LMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOO!

Call me crazy but for some reason I think Floyd will get the ko this time. I usually go decision with Floyd but I see it different this time. I think he will be able to land endlessly against an opened and aggressive Maidana. Just hope Maidana doesnt land cleanly one of those wild round house punches he be throwing lol. Matthysse/Thurman would be bananas! Got Em!!

I can see a stoppage happening on cuts or something. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see that. Maidana has exactly one option in his arsenal on how to fight this fight so it's hard to see him winning. His biggest shots against Broner were some odd angle/looping shots and that odd overhand right (if you can even call it that?). Being awkward sometimes is enough. Even Carlos Maussa won a title. If any of you remember him, he was one of the most awkward fighters ever. BUT, I think Floyd wins, easily.

Maidana has this real tricky, clever move where he feints to the body but throws a hook upstairs. He sets it up by throwing lots of jabs to the body early. He caught Broner with this a couple times. As he did against Lopez. Ahh, wish I saved the gifs from those fights but it's really clever. That move is his only chance to catch Floyd but Floyd is too smart for that and unlike broner has good defense.

Yeah hes unpredictable may give Floyd some trouble but Floyd will adjust and dominate like usual. I personally like both fighers and didnt exactly want to see the fight happen because of it but its much better then Floyd fighting Khan

I have to agree with CZAR @CZAR ! Maidana's chin is very suspect and if he can't body up on Floyd like he did with Broner then he will be eating up Floyd's punches up til the 10th. But I also see Floyd getting KO'd early, but he will get up and finish him off.

Maidana fades late in fights and he kinda always has. I would say he has a great chin, but a semi weak neck. When he gets dropped, he's almost never really that hurt. The shots that drop him usually come off of hooks and turn his neck too fast and it drops him. Similar to Marquez and Gamboa. Those guys have never been stopped either.

He came really close to being stopped by Khan from that body shot, I think it was the second round. It didn't look like he was going to make it, he was in pain then suddenly jumped up at the count of 8 or 9 as I recall.

But that's the thing about body shots. They hurt really bad for 20-30 seconds then you can recover.

Maidana has relentless pressure and a solid team.
It's not that bad of a match up. I think he will do better than most people think. I'm sure his trainers will have a game plan for him. I'm happy for him and Garcia.

Let's be fair. It's a much tougher battle than Amir Khan would have been. That was more of a name fight. I would have loved to see that too, but this one is a closer fight in my opinion.
