The only thing I think Broner got exposed on is the fact that he doesn't snap off that shell the way Floyd does. I've said before that he pops off better when he's not using the shell. I did watch his last fight vs Taylor and he didn't use the shell much at all and gave a good fight. They both went at it pretty good. And Broner landed a knockdown.

Coach E. No @Coach E. No During the Broner vs Malignaggi fight, it was known that there were ring issues. Both fighters stated that afterwards as well. Sow we as fans, not fighters, can't talk about Broners' footwork on that fight. But everything else I agree with. That's why I said he doesn't come off the shell like Floyd does, since he tried to mimic Floyd's style a lil. But he still beat Malignaggi and rocked him a couple times too. Malignaggi really didn't do much but throw a milli punches a round and that's how you beat the shell. Now, if Broner stays at his current weight, I can't see anyone beating him, really.

Just watched the Kayode vs Ortiz fight. Correction it was a FIRST round stoppage. And it was a terrible stoppage by the ref. Sure, Ortiz was going to win (I thought he'd win a wide decision) but the ref was buggin out to stop it like that. Kayode was throwing punches while the ref stopped it lol fuck that I'm still ridin with Lateeeeeeef

That cat from Philly(Williams? cant remember right now for some reason) looked good, nice up and coming prospect. Plus his idol is Bernard Hopkins, cant go wrong with that.

I don't know man, Lateef didn't start throwing back until the ref put his hands on Ortiz and Ortiz stopped unloading. When he stepped in to stop the fight Lateef was nearly sitting on the ropes like he was praying Ortiz would stop throwing punches at his head.

You can't sit in the corner and get tee'd off on after you've been dropped earlier in the round. Do something to get the hell out of there, take a knee. Something.

If he's sitting on the rope that would be a knock down, the ref could have ruled that a KD and started counting.... not waive off the fight
He was on the turnbuckle unfortunately for him cause he was pinned to the corner. I don't think it was the greatest stoppage but definitely not a bad one. Watch the replay and look and when Kayode throws his first punch back, it's almost immediately as Byrd put his hands on Ortiz to stop it.

Just got around to watching Ruenroeng Vs. Arroyo. Pretty sloppy fight, I thought Arroyo won but it was close and in Thailand. Amnat has back to back wins over Ioka & Arroyo, and he's the "weakest" champion in the flyweight division.

Hopefully with HBO pushing Shiming so hard they feature some more flyweights.

If anyone wants to check out the fight..

Paulie seemed to move around pretty well didn't he? Doesn't make sense that one guy moved a lot and the other didn't due to "ring issues"

She continues to amaze!

Cecilia Baekhus Pumped: This is a Huge Achievement!

Boxing history was made in Copenhagen, Denmark last night. Norwegian star Cecilia Brækhus (26-0, 7 KOs) became the first female boxer to unify a division by holding all four major titles simultaneously. The WBC, WBA & WBO Champion scored a unanimous decision victory over IBF Champion Ivana Habazin (13-2, 5 KOs) to become the undisputed welterweight queen.

Cheered on by her loyal army of travelling Norwegian fans, Brækhus once again proved why she is the pound-for-pound female number one with a classy performance against the tenacious Habazin. All three judges scored the fight 100-90 in favour of ‘The First Lady’.
