I gotta download all the fights I only got to catch the broner fight and the guy is just mediocre. Not sure how many people saw it but Algieri made easy work of Taylor before he beat Ruslan. I know styles make fights and all, just sayin, it was easy work.

Estrada beat the shit of Segura, beat him for 11 rounds straight. Definitely no FOTY there, just a big time performance by Estrada.

I actually caught the every fight on the card but the Broner fight before this Estrada/Segura fight started. That Mattyshee shot to the body was nasty. I doubt Garcia will fight him again, but hopefully they make Mattyshee Vs. Broner next.

Broner fought well but it was against an opponent where he didnt have to worry about getting knocked down cuz dude was hella smaller then him. Boy i hope that fight gets made with Matthysse. Broner acts like it would be an easy night. What a dumbass, he may get his face rearranged. Way to cocky at the end of the fight like usual. Hes gonna have to get served again and then maybe it will register and say to himself "oh maybe i shouldnt be so arrogant".

Broner just isn't that good. That's really all there is to it. He has the ego and attitude of an elite fighter but he's not elite. He looked good against them tiny guys like demaro, etc, but at 140-147, nah, he's a B class fighter at best. Still, nothing wrong with that. People just need to let go of the idea he's "the future" or whatever,.just accept him for what he is. And I'm sure he'll be in some entertaining fights in his career and make some good paydays. Hopefully 2015 is the year Al Haymon starts putting all these guys in the ring together. I'm getting tired of these stars vs tba's (three names vs three no names).

Hes B+ at best. Still hasnt beat anyone worth bragging about. If he beat Matthysse i would be really impressed and forced to respect him but i really doubt he will. He just isnt active enough also, anyone that can throw like 30 punches a round has a good chance of beating him nevermind that lack of movement. Hes not Mayweather, he needs a better workrate and stop pretending like hes this great defensive fighter

I'm being serious man. I don't think it's even debatable. How is he elite? A Class = elite. Would you put him in the top 10 p4p? He's up there with Floyd, Ward, Rigondeaux, Hopkins, Pac, Marquez, and the likes? No way man. He's top 10 at 140, that's as far as it goes. His defense is hella sloppy. His footwork is bad. And when he tries to box he just can't do it. I see no logical argument that says Broner is elite. Above average but nothing special.

Broner has a few things working against him. 1. His style isn't his and he looks uncomfortable when things don't go exactly his way. 2. Like 2-0 said his footwork is terrible, he has good upper body movement but that just doesn't cut it. 3. He thought he was more than he was and tried to leapfrog divisions to get into stardom and his power didn't travel up with him.

In fairness, ridiculous antics put aside, the dude is still 25 and has legit talent. He does need to figure out what works for him because what he's doing won't work well against the top guys in this division. Broner may be an A+/elite athlete, but he's definitely not an A+/elite boxer, you have to prove that in the ring

Anyone with a halfway decent chin and real skill should beat Broner. He has good pop and actually improved a little by the signs of it, but remember he leapfrogged the 140 division to go to 147. Won a debatable fight again Paulie, and got absolutely worked by Maidana. He doesn't wanna see someone like Crawford at 140. And he may be in for a world of hurt against Matthysse. He did work the body well in that fight though to his credit. And he's pretty tough, can't take those things away from him.

Despite all his b.s., I would say he's good for boxing.

Both Paulie and Maidana are true 140 pound fighters, so it's not like he went to 147 and fought a natural welterweight like Keith Thurman or someone like that. At 135 he was massive compared to his opponents, it's really no surprise he was knocking dudes out. Now that he fights guys his own size we see his power go down (although he still has decent pop. Chino said Broner hits harder than Floyd, I believe that).

He is entertaining and brings good ratings in usually. Hopefully Haymon makes the Matthysse fight next since they both want the fight (although I have a feeling we'll see another TBA or two unfortunately).

Some fights are gonna have to happen tho. I think Broner vs Matthysse will happen and Garcia vs Peterson will happen by years end cuz the winner of those will face eachother on Mayweathers' undercard come next year. Garcia vs Broner next year.

Yeah! I never talked down on Broner like that cuz I do think he got mad skillz, son! But for reals, the only issue I had with him fighting Maidana was that Broner jumped up too many weight classes where the division is deep with heavy hitters. Yeah he beat Malignaggi, but he barely survived that one! I also like the fact that he's down to scrap. I'm Mexican and all I hear is about how black fighters run around a lot, and he doesn't. He's a legit scrapper and I respect that.

Interesting. For someone who despises Floyd I would assume u would hate Broner even worse. Thats usually the case lol. But ok coo good lookin on the Broner love. Matthysse would be a tough ass fight and he better be ready if it goes down. Got Em!!

Danny Garcia was one hungry muthafucka before Khan, now he feels he's the best without beating the best. He changed bigtime! Real bitch status. Broner never changed after he won titles. That fucker went up in weight classes and went all out! Even hurt and knowingly losing the fight, he still gave Maidana the business. Even Maidana says it. Broner never changed. You have to respect him for that. Floyd on the oher hand...

There's more to it than you realize. I've heard from a lot of people now that Danny isn't as devoted to boxing as you might think. I've heard from some people in the know that he's been getting hammered the night before a fight in the hotel bar (of all places) and smoking cigarettes and stuff the night before the fight etc... He's made it work so far, but he's been doing that for a couple years or more from what I hear.

As far as Broner, he bit off more than he could chew. That happens often. In reality, I think Malignaggi exposed him. Malignaggi has almost no power but he exposed his footwork and showed that he handcuffs himself when a dude is throwing a lot of punches. I had called it for awhile that he wouldn't want to fight a guy like Maidana that he couldn't just walk down and land at will. He doesn't fight well going backwards and leaves his mouth open when he punches. He was gonna pay for it sooner or later. He could really turn the corner and be a great fighter, but as it stands, he is extremely flawed in his approach. He loses fights in the gym IMO.
