Good that was an awful performance. I've watched some slow motion close ups of numerous times when Chaves was eye gouging Rios when he had him in headlocks. I couldn't believe it. In real time you just cant see it. In the videos he's literally twisting his thumb in his eye lol never seen anything like that before. Don't think we'll see him back on HBO anytime soon.

I do wonder why it was so low, the undercard guys made a lot more:

Rios $925K, Chaves $25K, Vargas $125K, Novikov $105K

At least he was getting that Argentine money. Dude kinda f'd off his career last night. That was the dumbest thing I've seen since Koyode or whatever his name was pissing off Showtime after the Tarver fight. That dude has been a ghost since.

Lateeeeeeeef!!! Man, I was hoping he would become my next Tye Fields. I tried hyping him up (trolling) for a couple years. I think he's at heavyweight now.

I'd pay top dollar for a Lateef vs Pacquiao sing off though, fast forward to :34 seconds:

Kovalev Laughs at Stevenson: He's a Piece of Shit!

By Bill "Two Scoops" Emes

WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev believes he got the last laugh on his division rival, WBC champion Adonis Stevenson.

HBO spent most of 2013 building up a Stevenson-Kovalev unification. Stevenson threw a wrench in those plans by jumping ship to rival network Showtime, with the hope of facing WBA/IBF champion Bernard Hopkins.

On Friday, a major power play was finalized when Hopkins unexpectedly signed a contract to face Kovalev on November 8th, on HBO.

Because*Hopkins-Kovalev*was finalized, now Stevenson is left empty-handed - with the exception of the lawsuit from Kovalev's promoter, Main Events, who sued*Stevenson and his team for reneging on the Kovalev/HBO deal.*

"I'm very happy that Stevenson [got left with nothing]. I told everybody that Stevenson is a piece of shit. Everybody knows it, all of my fans [know it] and his fans too," Kovalev said.

So Kovalev ducks Hopkins for a bit, calls out Stevenson, gets his challange accepted, then lies about Stevenson, threatens to sue if he fights then books a fight with the man he originally ducked and who called him out way before he lied on Adonis.

Way to go Kovalev.

That's one hell of a way to twist things hersey. The only ducker/bitch in this whole saga is Stevenson's punk ass. Now it looks like he won't even fight Pascal. Dude is bitch.

Btw, Kovalev didn't sue anyone. His promoter Kathy Duva filed the lawsuit. The reason she dropped it is because they got the Hopkins fight and the entire point of the lawsuit was for damages done for potential money they would have made, but since they got Hopkins they are making money (no damage).

James Kirkland vs Rosado will be a banger!!!

* *** *
James Kirkland Eyed For Hopkins-Kovalev Co-Feature

By Rick Reeno

MGM Grand, Las Vegas - BoxingScene.com has been advised that junior middleweight contender James Kirkland (32-1, 28KOs) is strongly being considered to open up HBO's November 8th card from the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. The event, co-promoted by Golden Boy Promotions and Main Events, will be headlined by a highly anticipated light heavyweight unification between Bernard Hopkins and Sergey Kovalev.

Kirkland was last seen in action last December, at the same venue, stopping previously undefeated Glen Tapia in six rounds.

The opponent for Kirkland is unknown, but Gabe Rosado's name has been kicked around as one of the frontrunners.
