Missed the fights. How did MVP look? Sounds like the 2 mains weren't any good. Did Chandler really lose?
And Mo's looked like shit since he almost lost his leg to staph. Figured Rampage would bust him up

MVP looked great, did his usual showboating including not even looking at his opponent while throwing punches and got the one punch KO around the 4 minute mark of the first round.

Tito looked awesome, Storm was going for some body shots, but didn't seem to effect Tito, Tito just pressed him up against the cage, then took him down and locked in a head and arm choke like 2 minutes in to round 1.

Yeah Chandler lost, Chandler won the first two rounds with lay n pray. Brooks won 3 & 4 with domination, almost finished Chandler a couple of times with some chokes and some full mount ground n pound. Round 5 was really close, Brooks won on the feet, Chandler got a take down and the mount with one minute left in the fight, but it was too late to steal the round.

Rampage vs. Mo was pretty wack. Mo would take Rampage down and do absolutely nothing and Rampage actually got up every single time. Rampage busted him up on the feet a lot, Mo's eye was completely swollen shut. There was a few times on the feet Mo would actually run away then do nothing but try and shoot for a single.

mo's striking is god awful as well, how do you almost fall down after throwing a hook? lol

all in all the fights were good, really surprised tito got a finish, even tho he did fight a small middleweight. Michael Page is legit, always love watching him fight. now its a step up in compition for him. hopefully he'll win the tourney and face Lima for the title(Bellator dream fight)
chandler n brooks was a slow start but when brooks found his range he busted him up pretty good. Chandler looked lost in there after the third. Rampage n Mo was wacc, two ligh heavies who gas out after 1 round lol...the post fight was hella entertaining tho. Mo called Bjorn a dicc rider and that he don't care if he gets cut! LOL!

I've noticed a trend with lay n pray lately. Even if somebody wins with it, one judge will give it to the other person. I remember the Tyron Woodley and Jordan Mein fight near the end of Strikeforce as a great example of that, Woodley was on top most of the fight, but did absolutely nothing while Mein was actually working BJJ off his back and throwing punches off his back and one judge gave it to Mein for actually doing something, Woodley still got the win though.

Overall I think judges are starting to smarten up on lay n pray over the last couple of years, it doesn't seem to win fights as much anymore unless the person they're laying on does absolutely nothing themselves.
