Just in case y'all missed this interview, Ed Boon had to prematurely introduce The Joker without a big reveal because a fan spotted Joker's likeness in the Batcave (displayed on a computer screen in the background on the demo Boon was playing), then asked Boon in a Q&A if The Joker was a playable character.

He skirted the question without answering it outright, but the consensus was Joker and other characters that are as iconic as him are going to be present in the game.

I've never been a big DC fan,but I hope the game has:Bane,Doomsday,Green Lantern,Lobo,Killer Croc,Joker,Deathstroke.

Co-sign on Bane(og mask, fuck the new designs I've been seeing), Doomsday, and Lobo. I'm pretty sure if a character appeared in mk vs dc, they will appear in this game also, i would be disappointed if they left out Darkseid
