It looks pretty cool but 'infinite universe', I wonder how limited it is. Like is their actually gonna be large variables for variations of animals and environments? Or will it all be relatively similar?

I dont see a game as being 'infinite' if planets just have different colour species and environments. I'm hoping there is a lot more to it then that but I dont see how there can be any variations to NPC polygons without updates unless they mix and match NPCs body parts.

My only other gripe is I wish it was real guns not SciFi fazer guns and shit.

Well nothing is really infinite but surely it will be vast. I don't care about fazers and such since for me it seems to be much more about exploration. Need to learn more though.

But it sounds similar to Starflight, which was awesome at the time:

BUILD FOR AN EPIC JOURNEY
The voyage that stands before you cannot be taken lightly. You’ll need to prepare.
Collect precious resources on the surfaces of planets and trade them for the ships, suits and*equipment that will take you to your destiny in the stars.

Every solar system, planet, ocean and cave is filled with danger, and you are vulnerable.
Your ship and suit are*fragile, and every encounter can*test your skills to the limit.*From dogfighting in space to firstperson combat on a planet’s surface, you will face foes ready to overwhelm you.

And one mistake could see you lose everything. In No Man’s Sky, every victory and every defeat is permanent.

Explore uncharted solar systems and catalogue unique new forms of life. Every planet’s landscape is different from the next, and populated by species never before encountered.
Find*ancient*artefacts that could reveal the secrets behind the universe.

Choose whether to share your discoveries with other players. You won’t see them,*but they’re exploring the same universe in parallel; perhaps you’ll make your mark on their worlds as well as your own.

Nintendo easily won E3.

Nothing from Sony or Microsoft except for more sequels and remakes of games from last year. And 80% of it was FPS garbage. I'm sorry, but I'm sick and fucking tired of the entire FPS genre. It was cool 20 years ago on the PS1 and shit but besides graphics, nothing has changed. People like to bitch at sports games for being the exact same every year, but bullshit like Call of Duty and Battlefield get heralded as the next big thing when it's the exact same fucking thing every year.

Sony hardly showed any FPS, other than briefly showing Battlefield Hardline. Most of the stuff they showed looked pretty dope. Sure, lots of sequels but that's expected from the big AAA games and doesn't necessarily mean that's bad, I'm sure Batman, MGS5 for example are gonna be sick

Grim Fandango
The Order: 1886
Destiny
Bloodborne
No Man's Sky
Entwined
Let It Die
LittleBigPlanet 3
Batman: Arkham Knight
Far Cry 4
Abzu
Assassin's Creed: Unity
Rainbow 6: Siege
Dead Island 2
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
Mortal Kombat X
PlanetSide 2

But Nintendo is super original for having Mario Kart 8, Mario Party 10, Super Smash Bros, Zelda, etc? Lol

Nintendo had Mario Maker, Splatoon, Yoshi, a bunch of stuff that was new. Also, Nintendo does one game per franchise per generation. In the 6 years since the last Mario Kart, there have been 7 Call of Duty games, all of which are pretty much the exct same thing.

I haven't liked any of the Batman games except for Asylum. Once it went Open Wrld, I lost all interest. It's too much like Assassin's Creed, which I can't stand.

And I'm sorry but I fucking hate the Metal Gear franchise. Not a single one of those games has interested me, ever. I greatly dislike stealth games.

Out of your list, the only games I care about are:

No Man's Sky
Mortal Kombat X
Abzu

Every single other game on your list is either an FPS, or something I'm just not interested in.

Different strokes I guess. Most all the Nintendo games are the same characters over and over for the past 100 years lol. Mario, Yoshi, Zelda, etc etc.

I dunno how anyone could hate Metal Gear, that's crazy talk to me. But again, different strokes for different folks. Nintendo just seems focused too much on little kid games for my liking.

Out of those I listed I think three are FPS ( Far Cry, Rainbow 6, Dead Island).

Damn, I was still only looking at stolen playboys and shit you had it good! Or at best trying to get a glimpse of a titty through the scrambled adult channel!
My father got me a refurbished tv set when I was 8 for my nintendo. It had two buttons on the front - Fine and Tuning. Hold Tuning long enough and all the scrambled channels came in perfectly. Black and white but shit was free. PPV and porn. Back before the channels went into triple digits and cupid on spice was some shit like channel 96 and pay per view was channel 23-26. From age 8-13 I showed that shit off and made hella friends jealous lol
