LOL i just read zombie mode is exclusive to a season pass?

so you gotta buy the game, buy a season pass and pay to play online?
If you're on anything other than ps3 dont you have to pay anyway?

I actually like the game so far except Im having some lag issues. I'll definitely be picking up the season pass this week

So it's a $60 game where you gotta pay $50 extra dollars to play zombies online but only if you've paid $50 for online access for your next gen console?
No that's the funny thing.....Zombies is going to be a separate DLC. So if you want everything you will have to buy the game ($60), Season pass ($50), and the Zombie DLC (Idk price ATM)

They probably charge extra for zombies because it's an optional niche mode that only a small percentage of the player base actually cares about, but that small percentage player base is loud about it being added in every game since CoD: World at War so they charge for it to supplement the cost of developing it.

Wow im not paying $110 + $15 per map to play some zombies.

I already felt dumb as hell buying $60 game for 1 mode and $15 map packs for 1 map.
Its just 110 total. Zombies will be offered seperately

Just got off the phone with Activision PR. They have a full statement about Zombies below, but a main point they want to emphasize is that Zombies does*not*require GameStop’s $50 season pass DLC, even if that’s what the announcement seemed to be implying. That’s what I figured was the case, and the Zombies mode will indeed be sold separately as standalone, unpackaged DLC some time next year, and it was nothing cut from the core game. They also stressed that this is Sledgehammer’s take on Zombies, and fans probably shouldn’t expect a clone of exactly the same style of play a-la-Treyarch. They can’t yet announce how extensive the mode will be at this point, however. Read their full statement below:

“The plan for Advanced Warfare from the start was to deliver a great campaign, to re-imagine multiplayer, and to create a fast and frenetic co-op experience all based on the new Exoskeleton mechanics. * Sledgehammer put everything into getting this right, and the result is a great game that brings a new fun factor to the franchise so many people love.

Once the main game development wrapped, the teams started on some new ideas. *Like many of you out there, we are fans of zombies too. *Since the exoskeleton is in all modes of the game, the devs were excited to play with the idea of what happens when zombies are thrown in the mix too.* Sledgehammer is working on a new version of zombies that’s unique to Advanced Warfare, one that will be part of DLC. *Stay tuned, more info in the weeks ahead.”

nah man call it what it really is - a company trying to squeeze out every last dollar from the consumers. A LOT of people love the zombie mode, the internetz is having a shit storm over it. Now it's sold separately just like additional maps and who knows what else. So you gotta to ask yourself where does it end? They can get away with it because COD is always one of if not the top selling game every year no matter what. So they are being greedy. I'm not supporting this garbage because it's only going to get worse.
