Fiend Talks No Limit, Master P, Working On C-Murder & Mac's Cases, Magic's Death & New Album

No Limit RECORDS will forever go down as one of the most successful RECORD LABELS in Hip Hop history. It was a powerhouse! Master P and his band of merry men (and women) took over the late 90s/early 2000s with their heavy duty baselines, haunting piano arrangements, touching tales of STREET life and bounce happy club bangers inspired by the New Orleans bounce movement that Cash Money Records were also a part of.

One artist that always stood out and today CONTINUES to be referenced as one of the label’s fan favourites is Fiend. Complete with the type of gruff vocals that 20 CIGARETTES a day won’t even help you achieve, his ghetto gospel tales were always welcomed and his high-octane energy levels on some of No Limit’s biggest hits were impossible to ignore.

Today a member of Curren$y‘s Jet Life family Fiend is busy preparing two new albums while also growing his Sleepy Bear Tees CLOTHING LABEL. Talking exclusively to illWill.co.uk the former No Limit All-Star talks how Mia X is part responsible for him being given a shot at No Limit while producer KLC argued with P about it, the unfortunate passing of ex label mate Magic and their relationship, Da Headbussaz and how there was meant to be a sequel LP to the DJ Paul and Juicy J collaborative project and how he still communicates with his former No Limit label mates and how he is always on hand to help with C-Murder and Mac‘s ongoing incarceration which many have deemed an outrage due to mistaken identity. Fiend also gives a bit of info on his two upcoming albums.

He has made a few decent mixtapes. His style did change a lot though but its not bad. He works a lot with Currensy now. Flying Iron is a classic. That beat is one of my favourites ever. I can listen to that beat over and over but it never gets old.
