Seahawks are exploring trade options for Christine Michael. Makes sense given their depth at running back especially after signing Jackson

yeah if anyone else didn't get why Kam wants more money, well it should be pretty fuckin obvious now. turbin one of the nicest dudes on the team gets his ankle sprained, is cut and gone bam just like that. christine michael doesn't even get the chance to step up they just go for a vet at the league minimum and are ready to send him packing too. i mean "it's football" and "it's a business" and all that, but to these guys you take that shit kind of personal. Kam knows soon as he gets injured, he's gone, and the way he plays, any hit can be that stinger that leaves him permanently damaged through life or injured for the season. no loyalty from this hawks organization at all lol all that competition stuff and next man up stuff sounds nice in the interviews but the reality for the players is "You can and will be replaced by the next guy in line, if you fail to be the best of the best at your position or if you are injured"

iam pissed we traded Michael.... Rawls did NOT show me he is NFL ready.... Michael easily had the most speed in the backfield which was something that couldve been used especially after adding Jackson... total change of pace type back... and his blocking was improving as well, it was easy to see this preseason, we all know he made mistakes but he isnt the type of potential u wanna just toss away for a 7th round pick imo... this move along with Cary Williams signing upsets me this offseason

For real they did michael dirty. They must know something we don't lol like that crazy physique, maybe they got tired of doctoring too many damn PED and steroid positive tests and knew he was bound to end up getting caught soon lol

They didn't cut Turbin not sure why anyone would think that.

Michael was cut because he never stepped up, he kept fumbling every time he got a chance this happened every year. Also from what I heard one of the coaches talking several weeks ago he was saying Michael hasn't matured off the field either. That's a bad combo. From what I gathered he never took anything seriously. Maybe he'll take things seriously now that he got traded, similar to Cedric Benson on da bears who was horrible his first few years, then got traded and it was a big wake up call and he became productive. Maybe that will happen with Michael. His fumbling problem is pretty unforgivable though for a coach. Even on the plays he was down by contact he was fumbling this pre season, I know the team noticed that!

Fred Jackson is Marshawn Lynch's homie and he's going to be a good person to have in the locker room. It sucks Turbin is going to be out because he's a dope backup to Lynch, but finding quality RBs at this point is tough.

What did Rawls do that showed you he is not NFL ready?

If Michael is as good as you say, don't you think another team would have offered more than a conditional 7th round pick? It's not like other teams were exactly clamoring for his services.

What was wrong with Cary Williams signing? We got a player comparable to B Max at a fraction of the cost??

i watch the Eagles, Williams got BURNED over and over and over again it was bad but he also didnt have the quality of players around him that he does now which should help, Micheal was RAW and it was known he showcased his improved blocking just couldnt quite become a smarter runner tho and i can understand that i just dont see Rawls offering anything we dont already have i wouldve liked to have someone back there as more of a change of pace type thats all... and in the NFL, especially at positions like RB you dont get what u paid for in return when u trade and who in their right mind is gonna offer anything more than they have to?? and especially to the hawks?? if they wanted Michael gone and it was known then OTHER teams have the upper hand... this is all known

They obviously have no trust in Michael at all that's why they sent him packing and went out and got another RB who is a vet and you know what he offers. All they are looking for is someone to fill Turbin's shoes. So now they got two guys that can do that. Michael never improved and kept fumbling, the latter is something Pete Carroll won't accept. Like I said, maybe this will be a wake up call for Michael and I hope he does well.

Michael was a bust...his 3rd year in and its still "all potential" with him. Reminds me of Jake Locker's whole damned career...

how can u be a bust if youve never started and Lynch is infront of you?? and maybe he was just not needed here cause he wasnt the best blocker, u do realize there are teams that dont require that as much?? like where he is going, the Cowboys.... he just wasnt the right fit for the Hawks system, but to call him a bust after a couple years is something a casual fan would say, so im not gonna sit here and argue with something like that cause its foolish... how many times have RBs come out of the wood work after being traded or released ?? its happened MANY times, shit just look at a guy like Justin Forsett if u need to see what a RB That doesnt pass block well but fits a scheme can do for themselves if they get in where they fit in... Locker had injury issues, i cant name as single legit sports fan that calls players busts who spent half their time injured, and its Lockers fault that the Titans chose him that early knowing he had mechanical issues?? just stop dude

Michael made blocking improvements, he just chose to improvise more than stick to the actual game plan which worked GREAT for him sometimes and other times not so much... maybe the Hawks shouldnt have drafted him so high?? ever think of that instead of thinking something is wrong with Michael??? Hawks KNEW he couldnt block for shit, yet drafted him still... u act like its always 1 persons fault lol
